Clearwater, FL (April 7, 2009) – iSimple® has announced the availability of the GateWay™ SAT, a new integration kit that expands a user’s in-car listening options by integrating a Sirius SCC1 satellite radio tuner with the vehicle’s factory sound system. The GateWay SAT also offers an extra audio input for playing music from an iPod, mp3 player, smartphone or other media player. The new kit (MSRP: $229.95 – SCC1 receiver not included) is available in five variants for use with GM, Ford, Toyota, Honda and Nissan vehicles. When installed, the GateWay SAT offers SIRIUS radio programming (SIRUS subscription required) through a vehicle’s factory radio, including full control of the SCC1 tuner directly via the original radio’s controls. Each GateWay SAT kit comes complete with all the hardware and firmware needed for an easy, no fuss installation, including a GateWay module (PXAMG), an iSimple SatWire cable (ISSR11) and an auxiliary audio cable with both 3.5mm minijack and RCA audio inputs. The General Motors kit (ISGM11) comes with two harnesses that allow it to be installed in many 2004-2009 Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, GMC, Pontiac, Hummer and Saturn models. The Ford kit (ISFD11) includes harnesses for most 2005-2010 Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles. The Toyota kit (ISTY11) includes a harness that works with most 2004-2009 Toyota, Scion and Lexus models. The Honda kit includes a harness for use with select 2004-2010 Honda and Acura vehicles. And, the Nissan kit comes with a harness that installs in several 2004-2010 Nissan and Infiniti models. The SIRIUS SCC1 satellite radio receiver needed for operation is sold separately.
